Monsoon / Rainfall Advisory
In view of the upcoming monsoon season and the rainfall advisory issued by the Karnataka Meteorological Department, all agents, shippers, and freight forwarders are advised to ensure that cargo is packed using appropriate weatherproof and water-resistant packaging prior to tendering shipments at the cargo terminal.
Stakeholders are requested to take necessary precautions to safeguard cargo against rain, moisture, and other adverse weather conditions during transportation, handling, and storage. Please note that the adequacy of packaging and protection of cargo remains the responsibility of the agents, shippers or freight forwarders. The cargo terminal shall not be liable for any damage arising from insufficient or non-weatherproof packaging.
